Brad Johnson is a South Dakota state certified general appraiser as licensed by the South Dakota Department of Revenue and Regulation. This is the highest level of real estate appraiser license issued by the state. The designation allows Johnson to appraise all types of real estate of any value for federally related lending transactions. Johnson has been employed by Johnson Appraisal, Inc. since 1993 and took over ownership of the company in 1997. The real estate appraisal company was founded in 1977 by his father, Barry Johnson. Graduate of the University of South Dakota. President of the Watertown City Council since 2000. President of the Watertown Rotary Club 2003-2004. Appointed by Gov. Rounds in 2003 to the State Board of Water and Natural Resources.
