The American Society of Appraisers is the nation's oldest and largest interdisciplinary appraisal organization. Founded in 1936 and incorporated in 1952, the ASA includes specialists in all types of tangible and intangible property, both real and personal. Professionalism: Achievement and Assurance. At the February 2006 meeting, Chapter President Kenneth J. Weinbrecht, ASA offered congratulations to Jessica K. Gartland, ASA on her certification as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA). Ms. Gartland, a Business Valuation appraiser and CPA, works at Klein Liebman Gresen in Woodbury. She is the author of several articles in the areas of valuation and bankruptcy.
