Home Inspection is a rapidly growing industry in North America. Each year millions of homes are sold in the United States. Most home inspectors are small business owners who have recognized the profit potential associated with the industry. A successful home inspector might be a part timer who does two or three inspections in a week, or a full timer who does several more in a week. Radon, mold, and other environmental testing will serve to supplement an inspectors income even further. Professional witness services are also an option. Inspectors are paid $100 to $150 an hour to offer their services in a court case.
