The NSW Federation of Housing Associations inc. is the peak body representing community housing associations in NSW. We provide resources, publications and training for community housing providers. Housing Associations (HAs) local housing for local people...The federation has a membership of over 100 organisations and includes housing associations, housing co-operatives, Aboriginal Housing organisations, church based housing organisations and supported accommodation services. Board of Directors: The Federation is incorporated as an association and managed by a nine member Board elected by members at the Annual General Meeting. Minutes of recent Board meetings can be found here. Executive Director (ED): The Executive Director, Adam Farrar, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organisation. The principles of access and equity direct all planning and service provision associated with NSWFHA. Strategic Goals 1999-2004 : Many of our strategic goals are also the goals for community housing in general. Tactical Goals 1999-2004. Within five years...The federation carries out it's operational goals and strategies within 3 teams; Good Practice Unit (GPU) : Provides expertise and advice to the community housing sector (based on the principles of good practice) through publications, telephone advice services, resource material and high quality training and assessment services. Policy Team: Provides strategic direction to the sector in the current policy arena, through information, networking, forums, publications and working parties. Office Services Team: Assures responsive and timely delivery of information to the sector through newsletters, mail outs, publications and the web site.
