The Principals of Goldstar, Mr. Michael S. Brodsky, Mr. Michael Hillman and Ms. Colleen Mont have worked in the commercial real estate industry for a combined 50 years. Michael Brodsky. Mr. Brodsky founded The Goldstar Group, Inc. in 1995 and is responsible for originating, structuring, and implementing the acquisition of all properties on behalf of The Goldstar Group, Inc. He performs traditional asset management for clients of The Goldstar Group, Inc., including advising clients how to enhance the value of their properties by devising alternative financing strategies, implementing value-added property improvements, and exploiting leverage with other parties to the transaction to improve the client?s competitive position. Prior to founding The Goldstar Group, Inc., Mr. Brodsky was Vice President of acquisitions at NHP Capital Corp. (now AIMCO), and acquired and managed more than $1 billion in properties for Citicorp Real Estate and The Yarmouth Group (now Lend Lease Inc.) in New York City. Mr. Brodsky received a BSE in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University in 1990. Michael Hillman. Mr. Hillman joined the General Partner of the Partnership as the Chief Acquisitions Officer as of April 1, 2006. In such position, Mr. Hillman will be responsible to, subject to the direction of Mr. Brodsky, identify and evaluate prospective Fund Investments, negotiate and implement acquisition and financing transactions for the Fund, and develop and implement disposition strategies for Fund Investments. In addition, as Chief Acquisitions Office, Mr. Hillman shall assist in the management of the day-to-day business and affairs of the General Partner. Prior to joining the General Partner, Mr. Hillman was the Director of Real Estate Finance and Acquisitions covering the Washington, DC market for LMH Realty Group, an investment vehicle sponsored by Lerner Enterprises. Prior to LMH, Mr. Hillman was Senior Manager of Finance & Acquisitions at the John Akridge Company. He also has experience with Boston Properties, Inc., Julien J. Studley, Inc., and KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Hillman received a B.S. in Finance & Investments from Babson College in 1993. Colleen Mont. Ms. Mont joined Goldstar Properties as Vice President in 2005. In this position, she is responsible to lead the property management efforts and oversee day-today operations of all investment properties owned by Goldstar and its affiliates. Ms. Mont is also the Vice President, Operations of the General Partner of the Fund. In this position, Ms. Mont will be responsible to manage the day-to-day operations of the General Partner, including activities such as negotiating leases and vendor contracts, overseeing property management activities, preparing budget forecasts and financial performance reports, and performing due diligence in connection with prospective Fund Investments. Since 1991, Ms. Mont has managed various properties within the Washington, DC metropolitan area for other management firms. Ms. Mont received a BBA from the University of Georgia in 1990 with a degree in Accounting.
