Amigour is a subsidiary company of the Jewish Agency. Amigour was founded in 1972 by the Jewish Appeal for the purpose of providing housing solutions. At the time of its establishment, Amigour placed about 10,000 apartments at the disposal of distressed families which were living in huts, tents and temporary accommodation. From that time until the present, Amigour has supplied about 40,000 housing solutions and has renovated about 30,000 housing units which have been placed at the disposal of the State for the housing needs of the eligible.
